My tour is four weeks and a day away! EEEEK!!! I'm going to start practicing the tunes in earnest tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to getting out there and playing to people. If you want to be one of those people, you could buy a ticket! Maybe buy a ticket for friend as well! If you're one of the generous few who have already booked tickets, you could just tell a friend or your neighbours about it.
Things you need to know: ALL OF THE VENUES HAVE STEP FREE ACCESS (I'm planning on doing a longer post about why this matters to me with some more details, but if you want to discuss specific access requirements please get in touch)
MOST of the venues are Bring Your Own (London is the only gig that's not)
If it's not abundantly clear, my ticket sales are pretty low at the moment. I don't have a big profile and until Cormorant I had been focusing mostly on playing for ceilidhs which doesn't get you much of a following. All this means that I'm extremely grateful for every ticket sold and to everyone who gives my album a listen. In all honesty, making Cormorant and touring it are both big financial risks and I can only rely on my belief in the music that I've written and the irrefutable musical skill of the musicians I worked with. I'm incredibly (possibly even sickeningly) proud of the album that we've made and I'm so pleased to be able to share it with people. If you know someone who you think might like it, I would be so thankful if you would share it with them.
Please come and join me, Deb, Sam and Tom on our tour:
Thank you so so so much to everyone who has bought the album or booked tickets
Nat xx
